PANEL: Small Phones but Big Mobile Data

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A smart phone by itself does not host an incredible amount of data; however the totality of data produced by phones introduces a new digital asset. Big mobile data is different from generic web or enterprise data since it is more often structured, transactional, and based on user events such as check-ins, calls, mobile browser web traffic, or mobile app data. Where is the value in analyzing mobile data? What are the security risks to a consumer or enterprise in the totality of its mobile data? How will mobile data change as the way we use our phones (as social or media devices) change?
