PANEL: Join Forces with the White House: Open Data and Government as a Platform

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

A new era of citizen access and participation in government is upon us. More than ever before, Government is releasing public data at breathtaking speed, enabling greater efficiency and effectiveness, creating economic opportunity, and improving citizens’ quality of life. A unique opportunity has arisen for harnessing the power of government through open data to collaboratively solve some of the most challenging issues of our age. How can you leverage this platform, find open data, and engage with the data curators who are eager to unlock the potential of government data? What data exists how there, how do you find and use it, and how do you get more of it? How can technologists and entrepreneurs influence the future of our country through data empowerment?

The panel will feature a number of Presidential Innovation Fellows working at the White House and distributed in a number of federal agencies throughout the government.
