The Introduction to R workshop will cover the fundamentals of the R language with the goal of getting a participant to the level where she or he can conduct an exploratory data analysis in R, build linear models and perform standard data mining tasks such as clustering and classification analyses. The workshop will start by orienting participants to the R universe, cover the fundamentals of R data structures and functions and work through the code to perform data mining tasks. No prior experience with R is required. However, some experience with another programming language and data mining would be helpful.
