TALK: Promoting the Eco-System of Structured Data on the Web

The Web contains a rich collection of structured data residing mostly in HTML tables, lists and behind HTML forms. There is even more data that is valuable to the public sitting in enterprise and government repositories. This data, when displayed, combined and visualized can provide incredible value to users world-wide. In this talk I will discuss some of the steps towards creating an eco-system that encourages data owners to contribute their data to the greater good and data factivists to enhance this data in various ways.
